Future Business Leaders of America, more commonly referred to as FBLA, is the largest career student business organization in the world with over 250,000 members globally. It is designed to help students develop a wide variety of skills that nurture personal, educational, and professional growth. Here at Lynbrook, students have the chance to compete in a variety of events at the sectional, state, and international level.

Hey FBLA! My name is Sophie and I’ll be your Co-President this year. My favorite movie is La La Land and I have two precious cats named Babaloo and Sissy. Though I’m a bit biased, I’ve got to admit that FBLA was the best experience of my high school journey. Super excited for this coming year!

My name is Kasturi Kirubaharan and I am a sophomore at Lynbrook High School. I am one of the Vice Presidents of Written Events. During my free time I enjoy reading, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Hey! I’m Calvin, a junior, and I’ll be the secretary/treasurer this year. I’ve been involved with FBLA for 5 years and I’ve met and made so many friends throughout the years. I’ll also be leading the parli team on top of organizing conferences and managing the budget for you this year. Outside of FBLA, you can find me napping, playing badminton, binging anything, and listening to music.

Public Relations / Chapter Project Co-Head


Hi FBLA! My name is Anusha and I’ll be your Co-Chapter Project Head this year. My favorite book series is Once Upon a Broken Heart, I love reading, and I love love love rewatching The Boxcar Children for the millionth time. Over the past year, FBLA has become a club I look forward to through the different socials, all the amazing people I’ve gotten to meet, and the different conferences I’ve gotten to attend. My favorite memory of FBLA is running for an hour at night in Georgia, Atlanta just to buy ice cream. I’m so excited for this year and getting to know everyone!

Hi I’m Shannon and I’m your middle level chair. I’ve been in FBLA for over 4 years and had lots of fun doing it. My favorite memory was going to Ontario for SLC. In my free time I I’ve running and designing.
